January has been an incredible month for new friendships, new events, and a brand new menu! GunDogs Catering owes so much to our wonderful community and those who have supported us so far. See our Partners and Friends page for some of our most supportive and encouraging companies and organizations.
In the month of January, we debuted our new Ciabatta roll custom made from The Bread Shop for our friends at 580 Craft Beer. It is an amazing roll with a very short list of all natural ingredients. We also introduced a special sausage, the Garlic Andouille. This incredibly flavorful sausage from our friends at The Weeping Radish has been a hit for our January events.
To round out our standard menu, we have introduced a fantastic meatless treat – the Kimchi Veggie dog. The sausage is from Field Roast, and is a welcome addition to the menu for those looking for something different at the hotdog stand.
Our month came to an end with our first tasting event at Vino! in downtown Pittsboro. We were able to introduce our products to a great group of new friends there as well as at Johnny’s Gone Fishing in Carrboro.
We are also working on a few new creations that will be available for private events. We look forward to debuting a few of these great new sausages and toppings at Pittsboro First Sunday, March 5!
